When we leave Glendalough, we head up the Military Road towards the Sally Gap. On the way we come to Glenmacnass Waterfall, located at Mullaghdeevaun Mountain (848m/2,781ft).

The valley below is a glacial gem, with a traditional sheep farm nestled between the sheer mountain sides of the valley.
